HISTORY

Conceived & curated by the vibrant team of vocalist Josie Frater & Drummer/Producer Steve Taylor, Ziggy's Club launched in April 2012, first presenting events at North London-based arts venues, Dugdale Theatre, Millfield Theatre and Chickenshed Theatre in Enfield. and in Sep 2021 Moving to the the intimate Jazz Club setting 'Upstairs' at The Kings Head in London's Winchmore Hill, N21. 

Ziggy's performances have successfully built a large and loyal local & London-wide following, while attracting custom from all over the UK & Europe... 

Featuring a galaxy of talent: 

Steve Taylor Big Band eXpLoSiOn, BBC Jazz Award Winner Ian Shaw, soul legend Mica Paris, Julie Dexter, Joe Stilgoe, Tina May, Omar mbe, Jumoke Fashola, Gill Manly, Josie Frater's - Frater and Taylor, Redtenbacher's Funkestra, Sumudu, Gypsy Fire, Sarah Gillespie, Georgia Mancio, Vasilis Xenopoulos, National Youth Jazz Orchestra NYJO, (Olympic ceremony choir) Urban Voices Collective & BBC Radio 2  & 3 London Jazz Festival performances. 

The Ziggy's team has since collaborated with Pizza Express Jazz Club, - Soho Ronnie Scott's club, Jazz FM, BBC London, BBC Radio 2 & more.
